Nordex Group is to supply and install turbines totalling over 67MW to Alfanar Group for two wind farms in Spain.
The deal for 22 machines is for the Barrax and Chinchilla projects, which will be located in Albacete in Castilla-La Mancha, and also includes full service for 20 years.
Barrax will feature 10 AW140/3000 and three AW132/3300 turbines, while Chinchilla will comprise eight AW140/3000s and one AW132/3300 turbine.
Nordex said the turbines will be installed on concrete towers with a hub height of 120 metres.
Delivery is scheduled for the second half of 2020.
Nordex chief sales officer Patxi Landa said: “We are delighted that the Alfanar Group has chosen our technology.
