The Belgian subsidiary of Indian company CG Power and Industrial Solutions has secured a contract for the high voltage substations to connect the 415MW Dumat Al Jandal wind farm in Saudi Arabia to the country’s grid.
The €12.5m contract covers design and building of the HV substations for the project.

Dumat Al Jandal is being developed by EDF Renewables and Masdar and will feature Vestas V150-4.2MW hardware.
It will supply electricity to the Saudi Power Procurement Company from a site in the Al Jouf region of north-west Saud Arabia.
