EnBW has generated first power from its 497MW Hohe See wind farm in the German North Sea.
The developer said first power from one of the project’s Siemens Gamesa 7MW turbines was fed into the grid yesterday.

EnBW said it plans to bring two turbines online each day.
Fred Olsen Windcarrier vessels Brave Tern and Blue Tern have installed 49 units from a total complement of 87 that will feature at Hohe See and the adjacent 112MW Albatros, which is being built simultaneously.
Hohe See and Albatros are expected to be fully operational by the end of 2019.
