Israel-based renewables developer Enlight has signed financing agreements for two wind projects totalling 220MW.
The two projects are Genesis Wind on the Golan Heights and Yatir in southern Israel.

Both are in the advanced stages of development, though still awaiting various regulatory approvals that including those from the Ministry of Defense.
The agreements are with a consortium of banks led by Bank Hapoalim.
Total project financing is for NIS1.1bn (€270m).
The signing of the financing documents for each project is subject to the completion of three due diligence processes by Hapoalim Bank and its advisers.
Hapoalim Bank also led a consortium of lenders for the 96MW Emek HaBakcha wind farm, developed by Enlight in Israel.
