Aqualis has completed the acquisition Braemar Shipping Services’ offshore, adjusting and marine consultancy business.
The new company, called AqualisBraemar, said it will benefit from access to new capabilities, a broader suite of services, a bigger workforce and increased geographical footprint.
Offshore Wind Consultants will continue to operate and trade under its current brand name.
Braemar is the largest shareholder in AqualisBraemar with an initial shareholding of approximately 26%, potentially increasing to 33% depending on business performance.
The group’s headquarters are located in London, but there are also 48 offices in 33 countries, with more than 430 full-time employees..
AqualisBraemar chief executive David Wells said: “Combining our companies gives us greater critical mass within the offshore wind, oil and gas, shipping and insurance markets and means we will be much better positioned going forward.”
