Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker says the state aims to aggressively pursue a leading role in the US offshore wind industry, according to today’s reNEWS Digital Daily for the US Offshore Wind 2019 event in Boston.
Baker told the conference that that state is focused on doing offshore wind “properly”, having “chased” the sector.
He said the focus will not only be on projects, but also on the development of the supply chain, workforce and transmission.
