Vattenfall has launched a tender process for the repair of all of its onshore wind farms in Sweden, plus the Lillgrund project in the Oresund sound.
The contract offer is divided into two lots, one each for onshore and offshore, though bids can be submitted for both lots at once.
Vattenfall is seeking a full-service agreement for the turbines, including maintenance, trouble-shooting and spare parts, Adriaan Hakon Hormann, the company’s wind O&M procurement manager, told reNEWs.
Logistics capabilities, such as vessels, will also have to be provided for the services, he added.
The onshore contract will run for 130 months, with a potential extension of three-to-six years depending on project site.
Vattenfall currently has seven operational wind farms in its Swedish onshore portfolio, with a combined generation capacity of 246MW.
The tender for Lillgrund (pictured) has a duration of 82 months, with an extension up to five years.
Lillgrund was completed in 2007 and features 48 Siemens Gamesa 2.3-93 turbines.
Bids for both lots are due by 6 June.
