Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners has signed a deal with marine contractor CSBC-DEME Offshore for the transport and installation of turbines at two projects off Taiwan totalling 600MW.
The company, a joint venture between Belgian marine contractor DEME and local company CSBC, will put in hardware at the Danish developer’s 542MW Changfang 1 and 48MW Xidao projects.

The deal was signed on Monday, according to the JV.
The 100MW Changfang 1 is due online in 2021 to be followed by the 452MW second phase in 2023.
Xidao is expected online in 2024.
Both wind farms will feature MHI Vestas turbines.
