UK outfit Manor Renewable Energy has completed work on the 396MW Merkur offshore wind farm in the German North Sea.
The company was contracted by GE to provide temporary power, personnel and a multi-purpose vessel during the commissioning of the project’s 66 Haliade 150-6MW turbines.

The scope also included temporary power pods and a 2000-litre integrated fuel tank.
Merkur is scheduled to be fully operational this year.
It is being developed by a joint venture of Partners Group, InfraRed Capital Partners, DEME Concessions and Coriolis.
