JDR Cable Systems has completed termination and testing of the array cables for the eastern section of the 1218MW Hornsea 1 offshore wind farm off the east coast of England.
The company said it has now moved on to the final phase to complete the western section of the project.

Hornsea 1 is being developed by Danish company Orsted.
It will feature 174 Siemens Gamesa 7MW turbines and is expected to be fully commissioned at the end of this year.
