NextEnergy Solar Fund has handed Alectris a contract to provide operations and maintenance (O&M) services on 70MW of its photovoltaic capacity in the UK.
Under the agreement’s terms, Alectris will service a portfolio of 10 solar farms located in south-west England.
Since 1 March 2019 Greece-headquartered Alectris has worked with the fund’s investment manager NextEnergy Capital to deliver maintenance and operational services in partnership with a UK subcontractor with more than 265MW under management.
The services Alectris is providing include plant monitoring and maintenance, technical and engineering support, as well as preventative and corrective maintenance.
Alectris’ proprietary software Actis is designed to improve PV park performance by optimizing operations, reporting and reducing costs.

NextEnergy Solar Fund is listed on the main market of the London Stock Exchange with a market capitalisation of £790 million. It owns a total of 87 operating solar assets with an installed capacity of 694MW. Its Investment Manager is the Next Energy Capital Group.
