Fred Olsen Windcarrier jack-up Brave Tern has left the port of Esbjerg in Denmark with the first load of turbines for the 497MW Hohe See offshore wind farm in the German North Sea.
A total of 71 Siemens Gamesa machines will be installed at the project site.

Hohe See is being developed by EnBW, which is the majority shareholder in the wind farm.
The other investors in the project are Canada Pension Plan Investment Board and Enbridge.
Hohe See is expected to be fully commissioned later this year.
