Duke Energy is developing three photovoltaic plants in Florida, US, totalling 195MW.
The 45MW Lake Placid facility in Highlands County is expected to be in service in December 2019.
Duke Energy, which will operate and maintain the plant, acquired the project from EDF Renewables and is also constructing it.
The 74.9MW Trenton plant in Gilchrist County is also expected to be in service in December 2019.
Duke will construct, operate and maintain the solar farm, having acquired the development rights to the project from Southeast Solar & Power.
The 74.5MW DeBary solar project in Volusia County will enter service in March 2020. Duke is developing the project on company-owned land in the city of DeBary.
Duke Energy Florida is investing an estimated $1bn to construct or acquire a total of 700MW of solar capacity through 2022.
