EDF subsidiary Agregio is to supply cash and carry company Metro France with 100% renewable energy under a power purchase agreement signed today.
Under the terms of the deal, Agregio will source power from a wind farm operated by Eurowatt in Eure-et-Loir for the sole benefit of Metro France.

The three-year agreement covers 25 gigawatt-hours of electricity.
EDF said the deal paves the way for similar PPAs in France backed by wind or solar farms.
