ScottishPower Renewables is to hold a series of public meetings in February and March as part of the phase four consultation for the 800MW East Anglia 1 North and 900MW East Anglia 2 offshore wind farms off the east coast of England.
The consultation will be based around the projects’ draft Environmental Statements, which set out the proposed infrastructure and likely potential environmental impacts.
A total of 13 meetings will be held between 16 February and 9 March.
The first will be at Friston village hall and run from 10am to 4pm, followed by the second at Aldeburgh church hall on 18 February from 2pm to 7pm.
The next three events on 20, 21 and 22 February at Sizewell Sports and Social Club in Leiston, Orford town hall and Knodishall village hall will also run from 2pm to 7pm.
Thorpeness Country Club will host the sixth meeting on the 23 February from 10am to 4pm, followed by an event in Southwold on the 25th and the previous venues in Friston, Thorpeness and Aldeburgh on the 27 and 28 February and 1 March, respectively, between 2pm and 7pm.
Knodishall, Southwold and Leiston will host the final three events on 2, 4 and 9 March at 10am to 4pm and 2pm to 7pm in Southwold.
SPR expects to submit a planning application for both projects in the fourth quarter of this year.
