ABO Wind has sold eight wind farms in France with a combined capacity over 116MW to Czech utility CEZ for an undisclosed price.
The projects are at various stages of the planning process, ABO said.
Under the terms of the deal, ABO will connect the projects to the grid over the next few years and will also take on the operational management.
The company will also receive so-called milestone payments related to the progress of the wind farms on top of the sales price for the project rights.
ABO Wind said it has secured remuneration in accordance with the tariff system valid until 2016 of approximately €80 a megawatt-hour over 15 years.
The latest deal is the second between the two companies in France. In 2017, CEZ bought wind farms totalling about 100MW from ABO.
Half of the projects have received building permits, while the Ascheres-le-Marche in the Centre-Val de Loire region is currently under construction and is scheduled for commissioning in the autumn.
ABO Wind managing board chairman Andreas Hollinger said: “In light of our excellent cooperation it was an obvious choice to expand our partnership.
“We look forward to working together to advance renewable energies in France.”
