Fred Olsen Windcarrier is nearing completion of turbine installation at Vattenfall’s over 406MW Horns Rev 3 offshore wind farm off the coast of Denmark.
Jack-up vessel Brave Tern has loaded the last batch of MHI Vestas 8.3MW machines from the port of Esbjerg and set sail for the project site.

Horns Rev 3 will comprise 49 turbines in total and delivered first power on 23 December last year.
The project could be finished as early as May this year, having originally been planned for completion next year, according to the Port of Esbjerg.
Esbjerg is the installation and pre-assembly port for Horns Rev 3.
