Turner Iceni has acquired two new boats – MCS Maestro and Don Quixote – that now will be refitted for work later this year.
The 18-metre MCS Maestro was bought from Maritime Craft Services and will be refitted with Volvo IPS 900, shot blasted, repainted in Turner Iceni livery, as well as have a new galley and updated nav comms.
Don Quixote, purchased from Vroon, will be lengthened to 23 metres from its current 20 metres and have a new galley and seating.
The vessel will also be re-engined with 1400hp MAN and Hamilton 651 jets which will have the an AVX control system and jet anchor.
Diverse Marine in Cowes on the Isle of Wight will carry out the work.
Turner Iceni director Richard Thurlow said: “We are very excited to get these two projects underway, both vessels will be important additions to the Turner Iceni fleet for up and coming projects”.
