Danish company Momentum Group has completed the repowering of a five-turbine offshore wind farm in Sweden.
The work involved replacing 500kW WindWorld components with parts of newly-renovated Vestas V47 600kV turbines at the project 4km off the southwest coast of Gotland.

Momentum said the repowering will extend the life of the project by over 15 years.
Output at the wind farm will more than double to 11 gigawatt-hours a year from 5GWh a year previously, it added.
