Scaldis crane vessel Gulliver has started salvaging a set of three monopiles and transition pieces for EnBW’s 497MW Hohe See wind farm from Swire Blue Ocean jack-up Pacific Osprey at Eemshaven in the Netherlands.
The foundations have remained onboard the installation vessel in Eemshaven since Pacific Osprey’s main crane collapsed on 23 August.
DEME group subsidiary GeoSea has yet to decide how to continue with foundation installation works, it is understood.
By mid-August, Pacific Osprey had installed some 60 foundations at the 71-turbine project.
Pacific Osprey was slated to install all Hohe See foundations and 17 foundations at the 112MW Albatros sister project before the end of the year.
The 609MW Hohe See and Albatros complex is expected to be fully commissioned before the end of 2019.
Gulliver is pictured on the job.
