Canadian developer Boralex has commissioned the 33MW Inter Deux Bos wind farm in the Pas-de-Calais region of France.
The project, which features 10 turbines, will sell electricity to EDF under a 15-year index-linked power purchase agreement.
Inter Deux Bos adds to the 799MW already operated by Boralex in France and 1820MW globally.
Boralex president and chief executive Patrick Lemaire said: “The commissioning of Inter Deux Bos enhances Boralex’s presence in France and favourably positions the corporation to enjoy increased operational synergies in the future.
“And it comes as a prelude to the commissioning of four other wind farms in France – Hauts de Comble, Noyers Bucamps, Le Pelon and Coteaux du Blaiseron – which are all expected to be commissioned by the end of the year.”
