South Korea is planning to develop 4GW of clean power at a complex at Saemangeum in Jeonbuk province.
The Saemangeum Development and Investment Agency and provincial government’s propose to develop 3GW of solar power and 1GW of offshore wind.

South Korean president President Moon Jae attended a ceremony announcing the plans last week.
The vision also includes development of a local port to support the wind farm development.
