Gulf Marine Services has appointed Shona Grant as an independent non-executive director on its board, effective immediately.
She also joins the audit and risk committee, the remuneration committee, and the nomination committee, on appointment.
GMS provides advanced self-propelled and self-elevating support vessels serving the offshore oil, gas and renewable energy sectors.
Granthas spent 21 years with BP, where she held key roles in the areas of exploration, research and development and upstream operations.
She is currently a non-executive director on the boards of Bluware Corporation and Canrig Drilling Technology. The latter was formerly 2TD Drilling, where she was the chief executive from 2012 to 2017 and is a partner at Wellwork Innovation.
