The UK will kick off a week of activities on Monday to celebrate 10 years of the country’s Climate Change Act.
Green GB Week will include over a 100 events across the UK promoting clean growth opportunities and raising awareness of how businesses and the public can contribute to the fight against climate change.
Monday will celebrate UK leadership on climate action, followed by events showcasing new technologies on Tuesday.
Green finance will be the main focus on Wednesday 17 October and business opportunities for clean growth on the next day.
Climate action in communities will round off the Green GB Week on Friday 19 October.
For example, universities in the Midlands region of the country will host a variety of events as partners in the Energy Research Accelerator.
Events will include the future of solar, a bioenergy masterclass and and energising communities.
