Prysmian is seeking young people to join its eighth ‘Build the Future’ recruitment programme which offers training to new graduates.
The latest programme will select 50 new graduates from across the world in economics, business, engineering, physics, chemistry, maths and information technology.
Applicants will need to demonstrate English language skills and be willing to tackle global job challenges. Leaderships skills will also be valued.
Initial training will take place at Prysmian’s headquarters in Milan in partnership with SDA Bocconi School of Management, followed by a one-year job rotation in a graduate’s home country.
A further two years working abroad will complete the programme, which aims to assign junior managers and specialists in technical areas.
Since Build the Future started in 2012, 300 graduates from over 30 countries have been recruited.
Prysmian chief human resources officer Fabrizio Rutschmann said: “We strongly believe that young people’s contribution is fundamental in terms of ideas and innovation.
“They are involved in accelerating our company’s growth, making it more competitive, as well as increasingly open to and integrated with the communities in which we operate.”
