Green Cat Renewables has officially opened the 7.05MW Deuchries wind farm in Aberdeenshire, Scotland.
The project, which features three Enercon E-82 turbines, will provide over £600,000 to a community fund over its lifetime.
Green Cat Renewables senior engineer Gavin Jackson said: “The official opening of Deuchries was a great success.
“The sun was shining, the wind was blowing, and around 60 people from the local community had a look around the completed site.”
“Now that the project is operational, we are looking forward to seeing how the funds are used, and the first round of projects come into being.”
