Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners has started construction of two solar farms totalling 298MW in the US.
The 240MW Misae facility in Texas will feature solar panels supplied by Jinko and was acquired by CIP earlier this year.
Mortenson Company is building the project and will also be responsible for ongoing maintenance.
It is expected to be operational by the fourth quarter of next year. Misae also has a power price hedge with an unnamed financial institution.
RES America Construction is responsible for engineering, construction and procurement of the 58MW Sage project, which is located in Rich County, Utah.
Sage is planned to come online in August 2019 and will supply electricity to PacifiCorp subsidiary Rocky Mountain Power under a long-term power purchase agreement.
CIP acquired the project in April 2017 and carried out development and pre-construction.
Both Misae and Sage are expected to secure third-party tax equity funding, CIP said.
