Developers Eneco and Elicio have completed installation of the substation topside at their under-construction 370MW Norther wind farm off Belgium.
The platform was built at Engie Fabricom’s yard at Hoboken in Belgium.
Dutch marine contractor Van Oord is the balance of plant contractor for the wind farm.
Foundation installation is meanwhile underway at the project.
Norther will consist of 44 MHI Vestas V164-8.4MW turbines, which are due online next year.
Eneco and Elicio are joined by Mitsubishi Corp subsidiary Diamond Generation Europe as shareholders.
