Suzlon-backed developer Seventus has acquired the 235MW Jawbone wind projects in Wheatland County, Montana, from energy company Gaelectric.
The first project, with a capacity of 80MW, will feature 38 Suzlon S111turbines. Construction is expected to begin next year.
Seventus chief executive Tim Rosenzweig said: “We are happy to add the Jawbone projects to the growing Seventus development pipeline
“These projects will help us to achieve our goal of providing low-cost renewable energy to our partners.”
