Chinese outfit Trina Solar has acquired a majority stake in Spanish solar tracker manufacturer Nclave Renewable.
The deal is the first by the Chinese company with a tracker producer outside of its home market.
Trina Solar will incorporate its TrinaPro smart PV solution with Nclave’s tracker products and engineering designs.
Nclave has headquarters in Madrid and manufacturing facilities in Navarra in Spain.
