Hi-tech companies Vissim Renewables and Red Nine are the latest tenants to move into offices at OrbisEnergy in Lowestoft.
Vissim provides real-time, integrated, monitoring systems for ships, personnel and assets ranging from wind farms to military missile ranges.
Red Nine designs bespoke information technology solutions and is planning to branch out from the oil and gas sector into offshore renewable energy.
Vissim managing director Glyn Grayson said it will use its OrbisEnergy location to set up a marine control suite to train up to six people.
Red Nine company director and consulting engineer Alan Leech said OrbisEnergy will help the company diversify and develop into the offshore renewables industry.
“We will start with a two-man office, but plan to grow,” he said.
