Mainstream Renewable Power has started a process to select a majority equity partner to develop the 450MW Neart na Gaoithe offshore wind farm in Scotland.
The company said the partner would help to take the project into construction and commercial operation.
Mainstream chief executive Andy Kinsella said: “Almost all the major players in the offshore wind sector are already in discussions with us.
“Mainstream plans on maintaining a significant minority interest in the project, which we have developed over the past 10 years.”
KPMG London is managing the selection process, which is expected to conclude early next year.
Neart na Gaoithe is fully consented and was awarded a Contract for Difference in 2015.
