Contractors are being sought to supply and install export cables for Parkwind’s 228MW Northwester 2 offshore wind farm off the coast of Belgium.
The developers have issued a tender for the design, manufacture, supply, installation and termination of the export cable.
The link will consist of a 17km 225kV three phase submarine cable, according to the tender documents.
The tender is split into two lots. One covers the design, manufacture, supply and termination works, while the second is for installation.
Companies can apply for one or both of the lots.
The length of the contract is 18 months.
Interested parties have until midday local time on 22 December to apply.
