An online directory has been unveiled detailing Scottish ports that have capabilities for companies active in energy industries, such as offshore wind.
The Scottish Energy Ports Capability Directory provides businesses investing in Scotland with a searchable database to examine and compare 26 ports.
It has been put together by a partnership of the Highlands and Islands Enterprise (HIE), Scottish Enterprise and the British Ports Association.
HIE head of energy industries Gavin MacKay said: “We already have some world class capabilities in and around our ports and harbours, enabling world leading offshore energy projects such as the Beatrice offshore wind farm and the MeyGen tidal array.
“This capability directory will further demonstrate the quality port and harbour sites in Scotland, helping to attract and accelerate investment opportunities.”
The directory can be accessed here.
