Danish renewables developer Orsted has issued two green bonds totalling €1.25bn to invest in new and existing offshore wind power projects, the bio conversion, energy efficiency and energy storage.
The bonds are a €500m green hybrid capital security with a maturity in 3017 and a €750m green senior unsecured bond with maturity in 2029.
Both issues have a settlement date on 24 November 2017, Orsted said.
The €500m bond, which is listed on the Luxembourg Stock Exchange, was five times oversubscribed. The €750m security is listed on the London Stock Exchange and was 2.3 times oversubscribed, Orsted said.
