Bladt Industries has fabricated its 100th jacket foundation for the offshore wind sector.
The Danish outfit said the milestone had been reached at the Lindo industrial park in Denmark.
Bladt said 41 jackets had been manufactured for the 288MW Baltic 2 project, a further 41 for the 350MW Wikinger wind farm and fabrication of 30 jackets for the 588MW Beatrice facility is ongoing.
Bladt Industries jackets product and department manager Jens Peter Andersen said: “The completion of the 100th jacket in our history and our ability to serially produce them is a cause for celebration, not only for Bladt, but for the whole industry because it shows it can be done and there is a demand out there.”
