The first piles for ScottishPower Renewables 714MW East Anglia 1 offshore wind farm have arrived at BOW Terminal at the Dutch port of Vlissingen in the Netherlands.
The Dutch outfit was contracted in January by SPR to provide foundation marshalling services for the project.
The deal includes 102 jackets and 306 pin piles, which are being supplied by Lamprell in the UAE, Harland & Wolff in Northern Ireland and Navantia in Spain.
East Anglia 1 will consist of 102 Siemens Gamesa 7MW turbines.
