Siemens Gamesa has extended a contract by two years for Eidesvik Offshore’s Acergy Viking vessel.
Acergy Viking will now be working until the end of January 2020 performing service operation vessel duties for Siemens Gamesa in the German offshore wind sector.
Eidesvik Offshore chief executive Jan Fredrik Meling said: “We are proud of the solid operations delivered by the vessel and crew resulting in this long term extension.
“This extension will enable us to further strengthen our relationship with a strategic important client for Eidesvik in this exiting and evolving market.”
