AEP Ohio has issued a request for proposals (RFP) for up to 400MW of solar power resources in the US state.
Proposals will be evaluated based on various criteria outlined in the RFP, the company said.
Preference will however be given to sites located in Appalachian Ohio, that create permanent manufacturing jobs in the region and make commitments to hire military veterans from the state, AEP said.
Interested parties have until 18 December to submit proposals.
