Dong Energy has awarded WS Atkins, COWI, Ramboll, ISC Rådgivende Ingeniører, Kelvin Power Structures and WSP UK contracts for engineering consultancy services for the Danish energy company’s offshore wind projects.
WS Atkins, COWI and Ramboll have been contracted for onshore substation and foundation structural designs, while WSP UK, ISC and Kelvin Power have also been awarded deals for onshore substation design.
ISC also won a contract for foundation design, and was also awarded one for offshore substation design together with Ramboll and COWI.
Contracts for engineering services and design of buildings for operation and maintenance activities for offshore wind farms have still to be finalised.
The total value of the contracts, which will last six years, is €45m.
