Wind farm operator Projekt has celebrated the formal inauguration of the 39.6MW Dötlingen and 10.35MW Hengsterholz community developments in Lower Saxony, Germany.
The Dötlingen project features 11 Vestas V126-3.3MW turbines and one V117-3.3MW machine.
VR Bürgerwindpark Dötlingen and VR Energiepark Haidhäuser are co-owners of the Dötlingen project.
The Hengsterholz wind farm is a repowering project in which three Vestas V117-3.45 MW machines have replaced six older Vestas turbines.
The wind farm is owned by the local community.
