Vattenfall is seeking taxi services during construction and operation of its 406MW Horns Rev 3 offshore wind farm in Denmark.
The Swedish utility has invited service vessel outfits to bid for contracts totalling up to €10.2m and running for a number of years.
One lot covers construction and it is intended that one party will provide two crew transfer vessels in a staggered deal running from March 2018 through end-January 2019.
A number of options are included to extend the lifetime of the deal and to increase the size of the fleet depending on the demands of construction. Total value is up to €4.2m.
The second lot covers O&M at Horns Rev 3 and runs from August 2018 through July 2021 with options stretching potentially through 2024.
Vattenfall will contract with one party and total value will be up to €6m.
Services in both cases will run between Esbjerg and the project site some 25km off west Jutland with the port of Hvide Sande also an option.
Tender documents are available until 23 September at 9.00.
