Brookfield Renewable has completed turbine installation at its 27.5MW Slievecallan East wind farm in Ireland.
The project, in County Clare, features 11 Nordex N90/2500 turbines.
“The wind farm is now entering mechanical completion and commissioning stage,” a spokeswoman for the Canadian company said.
Turbine installation at the neighbouring 45MW Slievecallan West is begin shortly.
A total of 18 Nordex N90/2500s will feature at the Invis Energy-developed project that is also expected to be operational by the end of the year.
