Indian wind turbine fabricator Suzlon booked a net profit of Rs90 crores (€90m) in the first quarter of the 2017–18 financial year, compared with a loss of Rs206 crores in the same period last year.
Revenue was up by 62% to Rs2665 crores, from Rs1648 crores last year, Suzlon said.
It added that earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortization was up 168% year-on-year to Rs475 crores.
The company’s order book as at 30 June stood at 1169MW.
Chief executive JP Chalasani said: “We continue to achieve profitable growth as evidenced by the fourth consecutive quarter of delivering net profit.
“We are confident this momentum will continue.”
