Greencoat Renewables has raised €270m through an initial share offering to invest in onshore wind projects in Ireland.
The company issued 270 million shares at an issue price of €1 per share.
Greencoat will be listed on the Irish Stock Exchange, with admission and trading expected to start on 25 July.
Greencoat Capital partner Bertrand Gautier said: “The capital raised will allow the company to pursue its investment policy and grow a euro denominated renewable energy business of scale, focusing initially on the Irish onshore wind market.”
