Norwegian outfit Uptime International has won a contract to supply its motion compensated gangway system for a new offshore wind farm service operations vessel (SOV) being built by Cemre Marin Endüstri in Turkey.
Uptime said it will deliver the walk-to-work gangway and an adjustable pedestal integrated towards the elevator tower in the new SOV.
The vessel is under construction at Cemre Shipyard for owner Louis Dreyfus Armateurs.
It is scheduled to be delivered next year and has been contracted by Dong Energy for operations in the German North Sea starting at the end of 2018.
