Nordex has won turbine orders totalling 72MW for two wind farms in Turkey.
The German manufacturer will deliver 16 N131/3600 machines for Pakmem Elektrik’s 57.6MW Cerit wind farm in the province of Caglayancerit.
Delivery is scheduled for spring 2018 and the deal also includes a premium service agreement for 15 years.
The turbines will be installed on 84-metre tubular steel towers on two adjoining ridges with altitudes of 1510 and 1865 metres, respectively.
Cerit is scheduled to be operational in autumn 2018.
Nordex will also supply Sur Enerji, a subsidiary of Sur Group, with four N117/3600 turbines for the Kurtini wind farm in southern Anatolia.
The work will start in October and the contract also includes a 10-year premium service agreement.
The turbines will be installed at altitudes between 1150 and 1250 metres on 91-metre tubular steel towers.
Kurtini is scheduled for completion in spring 2018.
