Lloyd’s Register is boosting its energy resources services (ERS) capabilities to help with increasing demand from renewable energy companies across the world.
ERS is Lloyd’s Register’s specialist low-carbon power generating business unit.
Lloyd’s Register said it is growing the ERS business to provide technical energy resource advice and modelling and analytical services to support wind and solar project development, design, finance and operation.
Tim Crutchley is the ERS division manager having joined recently from Wind Prospect.
He will oversee the development of ERS services spanning the project lifecycle of all renewable energy assets, Lloyd’s said.
Also joining the ERS division from Wind Prospect is Nathan Hill who has expertise in resource assessment for onshore wind.
The team has also added Matthew Zhang to provide wind resource assessment and David Pullinger as technical lead.
