Solar developer Eco Energy World (EEW) Australia has gained approval for three new photovoltaic projects totalling 410MW.
The projects, which are located in Queensland and include a 280MW facility in Bouldercombe, will be connected directly to the grid.
EEW has previously secured grid and planning for 160MW of solar projects and so its ready-to-build portfolio now stands at 570MW.
The company said the construction value of all the projects totals A$900m.
All the solar farms are planned to start construction in the third quarter of 2017 and to be connected from December this year to the second quarter of 2018.
EEW is targeting to develop a minimum 1GW of solar farms in Australia up to 2019.
