UK outfit Specialist Marine Consultants has teamed with Dutch group Offshore Project Support to set up marine coordination centers at the ports of Den Helder and Eemshaven.
The centers will provide numerous vessel coordination services to offshore wind farm developers, based on the pair’s shared knowledge and expertise, said a spokeswoman for SMC.
Marine coordinators generally ensure that offshore operations are carried out efficiently and safely by managing the timing of personnel and vessel deployments.
